What we Believe

We believe with the grace of God together we can create a world free of destitute. God will bless us for this noble work and help us achieve our mission. We all are God`s children and it is our moral responsibility to take care of our brothers and sisters on the street. The story of the Rich man and Lazarus in the Holy Bible reminds us about the same.

The Rich man and Lazarus

(Luke 16:19-31)

Jesus told a story about a Rich man who wore the finest clothes and lived in luxury. A beggar named Lazarus lay outside the Rich man's gate. Lazarus was hungry and his body was covered with sores. He was hoping that the Rich man may have pity on him and that he might be able to satisfy his hunger with the leftovers from his table. But every day the Rich man passed by Lazarus without even giving him a thought.

The Bible says that Lazarus died and went to heaven. The Rich man also died, but he went to hell. In hell, he looked up and saw Lazarus in heaven on Abraham’s bosom. He asked Abraham to let Lazarus dip his finger in water and come and touch it to his burning tongue, but Abraham said, "No." Then he reminded the Rich man how he had enjoyed such good things on earth while Lazarus had nothing.

The Rich man then asked Abraham to allow Lazarus to go back to the earth and warn his five brothers so that they would not end up in hell with him; but again, Abraham said, "No." The Rich man finally realized his mistake, but it was too late.

God is giving us an opportunity to learn from the Scripture and live our lives accordingly. If we do so God promises us eternal life.
“The numbers of a man’s days at the most are an hundred years. As a drop of water unto the sea, and a gravel stone in comparison of the sand; so are a thousand years to the days of eternity”. [SIRACH 18:9-10]

We need to come together for the sake of this noble mission and keep our hearts and minds open to the Scripture and God’s message and care for these people who lie on the streets without food, clothing and proper shelter.

How can you dine with pleasure when the helpless and starving people look on?

How can you sleep in cozy comforts when the pitiable homeless with suffering bodies sleep on pavements amid rain and dew?

How can you dress yourself with choice clothes when these unfortunate ones live with foul smelling dirty rags?

To fulfill this ennobling mission
We invite you all to join together
Let the wise lend some wisdom……
The intelligent some diligence………
The discerning some discernment….
The conscious stricken join us……
